Here’s a lesson I’m still learning… Changing your mind isn’t the same as giving up.

Life is full of unexpected twists and turns. Circumstances change, priorities shift. At times, your choices adjust accordingly.

The process of changing your mind doesn’t only happen in your head. As a human being, you are filled with infinite wisdom. It’s there inside you. All you have to do is listen.

What is your heart saying? What is your body saying?

Click HERE to watch this episode of  Luisa TV,  I share with you my top 3 life tips – how to move through confusion and change.

If you’ve ever searched for how to live life, to find meaning, to discover purpose, you will LOVE this episode.

Have you ever had an inner knowing that it was time to make some life changes, but you felt too confused to make them?

So often we can set out a plan, organise an event, plan life to the most minute detail but what if after a while it doesn’t feel right?

Everything is part of this constant change which after all is – life.

Magic happens when you live your most authentic self.

The reason we make plans and strategies is because we want the world to look more like what we want it to look like than what it does look like.

I’m here to tell you – you can change your mind – its ok not have everything figured out, which can lead you to exactly where you are supposed to be.

Changing your mind is really brave and self-aware and sometimes recognising that sticking with something – doesn’t always make you dedicated it can make you stuck.

Life is fluid, its not set in stone and its ok to change, its ok to listen to the whispers of your intuition and perhaps the plan that you were so fixed on the outcome – your higher self has a better one – if only you pay attention.

When we talk about guidance and intuition and symbols and synchronicity – we are always being guided – always – but the mind often gets so caught up on the end goal – we can ignore the opportunities that are being presented along the way.

Whether it’s something as simple as backing out on plans or something as major as completely changing careers – its ok to go in a completely different direction.

However, sometimes these unexpected changes might force you to evaluate your final goal altogether. At that point the main question is whether your final goal remains the same or not.

Sometimes while people are working on their alternatives, they realize that this is what they actually wanted all along. But yet, it took this uncomfortable change of plans to let them acknowledge it.

Here are my top ways to move through life confusion and finally get clear on what you want so you can take action toward it.

  1. Follow your excitement.

If the fear runs deep, following your excitement will help. For example, instead of trying to answer the question, “What should I do with my life?” ask yourself, “What excites me right now?”

Make a list of all the activities and experiences that excite you, but try not to judge your list. For example, simply going for a walk in the park really excites me. It doesn’t matter if things on your list seem small or insignificant.

There are several benefits to following what excites you in this moment. One, you start to feel more excited about your life. And two, your excitement usually leads you to people and experiences that will help you set a direction for yourself.

Following your excitement is much less daunting than trying to figure out your whole life. In addition, it leaves room for expansion and gives you the freedom to continually try new things.

  1. Decide on your direction – which feels the lightest.

Decide very clearly on the direction you want to go in. Making a clear decision is the quickest way out of confusion. Thoughts like, ‘This will never work’, ‘I’m not good enough’

Believe in yourself enough to make a decision and know that you will make the right one. Don’t worry about making a “bad” decision. In my opinion, making no decision at all is often worse.

Once you make the initial decision, the Universe will start to provide you with people and experiences that help you move forward. Breathe, become aware of how your decision feels in your body, and act on whatever option has a sense of lightness and openness to it.

  1. Release your expectations.

Usually, when we finally make the decision to change, we proceed to come up with a detailed plan for how it should all go down. We immediately search for something that will make us feel secure in the face of change.

But the truth is, you can manifest change much more quickly when you open yourself up the all the possibilities that you haven’t even thought of yet.

It’s perfectly okay to focus on what you want, but I like to try and leave the details to the Universe and simply focus on what I’m excited and capable of doing right now. This allows you to feel joy now instead of making your joy dependant on a certain outcome in the future.

Once you take the first step, everything else will unfold for you.

With Much LOVE,

Luisa x
