What does it mean to shine your light?

For a long time, I knew I had this inner light in me. But I was afraid to let it shine. I didn’t know how, and I didn’t know how my friends of family would react. I didn’t know who I would become if I allowed myself to shine. 

Shining my light did not come with a manual BUT if never took the steps I would never have created Passion Harvest and be here now sharing and shining my light and my love with you.

What I had to do was really turn inward. I had to ask myself: How would I feel if I got to the end of my life and realized I was too afraid to let my light shine?

When we let our light shine, we give others permission to do the same.

What is it costing you to NOT let your light shine as brightly as possible?  

The first step to shining your light is to recognise the light within you. It is only by recognising the light within ourselves that we can truly shine our own light for others.

You’re allowed to be brilliant, beautiful, successful, fabulous. You’re allowed to let your light shine.

Do what’s fun for you, do what you are inspired to do, allow the expansion of your light by following your intuition.

Shining your light in the world is your reason for being here and if you encourage it and allow it, it will make your path and journey as rich and luminous as it’s meant to be.

When we purposely set out to dilute who we are, we are denying ourselves our birthright to live in full bloom. Full expression.

When do we ever walk through a garden of beautiful flowers and wish that they weren’t so bright and colourful? Less alive? We don’t. When have we looked at the sunrise and wished it wasn’t so pink or so vibrant? When have we looked up at the stars and wished they didn’t shine and sparkle in the darkness? We marvel at beauty and glory. We would never ask them to diminish their splendour. We simply ask them to be all that they are.

If we place ourselves in the shadows then we prevent our true light from radiating out.

It is my belief that our greatest purpose here is to deeply align with our truth, acknowledge our innate gifts and then to generously share them with the world for the service of all (which of course includes ourselves)

By shining your light, you not only change the quality of other people’s lives, you also improve the quality of your own.

 

5 Tips to shine your light?

1. Be authentic. There is no one like you!
2. Be vulnerable, transmute fear into love
3. Believe in yourself and recognise that you deserve to shine, you have a special gift for the world
4. Trust – in the universe, the divine and let go of the need to control
5. Do what feels good – follow your bliss, do what lights you up – this is your guidance to shine bright

Remember to Shine Bright!

I want you to understand that you only have ONE JOB and that’s to let your light shine.

And that DOES NOT have to be from a stage or or some wold changing life altering event. Letting your light shine can be as simple as saying I love you or I forgive you or just showing up.

In fact, your radiance and light is the very reason why others are drawn towards you.

Shine your light like only you can. And don’t apologize for it. The world does not benefit from you living in the shadows. And the world most certainly does not benefit from you living in shame and fear. It benefits from your incredible, loving contribution.

So be bold, be brave … love yourself enough to know you deserve to shine bright!

Life will feel more blissful, more fulfilling and more aligned when you let your true light be seen.
